GreenEarth is a consulting company providing research and policy services on social, cultural, political and infrastructure sectors in Maharashtra. We specialize in electricity, governance, economic policy, public finance and education and also dabble in public transport and traffic management, urban development, solid waste management, sanitation, water and health. Our goal is to "work towards a conscientious society" by exploring a long-lasting, all-inclusive and equitable philosophy of life through research and analysis.

Anil Shidore- Founder, Director

 Anil, Founder of GreenEarth and Maitri, but more importantly, our mentor, philosopher and guide. Anil has over 35 years of varied experience in the development sector. A University gold medalist, Anil has worked in various sectors such as adult education, natural resource management, health, education, human rights, relief and rehabilitation, grants management, social communications, sanitation etc in different capacities and with a diverse set of organisations. Life has always taken unusual turns for Anil and today he is trying out the path towards change through active politics.

Vinita Tatke- Director

A double-masters in Statistics and Computer Management, Vinita moved away from her academic pursuits when she joined Oxfam GB's Central India office in Nagpur. Here, and subsequently with GreenEarth and as founder of Maitri, she traveled across Maharashtra and other States in the country for over 19 years, working with various social movements, understanding the lives, lifestyles, pains and joys of people in remote corners. Today, her goal is to find that one thing that will tilt the balance in favor of lasting change in Maharashtra.

Sanjay Risbood- Advisor

Engineer by profession. Having over 25 years of experience in the industry. Sanjay has worked closely with various infrastructure projects like Metro railways, power, steel etc. He's the CEO of Getzner India and volunteer for "Maitri"- a voluntary organization working in Melghat on issues like child mortality and malnutrition.



Pradnya Shidore

Having a deep urge to comprehend our changing society, Pradnya finished her Master's in Political Science. She also holds a certificate on 'Life and Thoughts of Gandhi' from Indian Institute of Advanced studies,Shimla. After a few research assignments with National Grographic magazine and Wall Street Journal, Pradnya joined GreenEarth in 2009. Her interests lie in media, politics, social movements and governance.

Harshad Abhyankar- Consultant

Harshad is an IITian and has worked in electronics and IT sector for 20 years in USA,Canada and India. He left his job in IT sector in 2007 and committed himself to the cause of  improving City Traffic. He has been working with 'Save Pune Traffic Movement' since 2002 and currently holds a position of director. Also, he's a founder of Zebra Traffic Education and Consulting company. 



 



Manasi Tatke- Librarian

Manasi loves to read so much that she ended up doing a Masters in Library and Information Science just so that she could be surrounded by books all the time.  She has worked with the British Library and a couple of software companies as well.  Since 2010 she heads the Knowledge Repository at GreenEarth.  Besides making information more manageable, she also compiles case studies on innovative methods of city planning, education and just about everything that makes the world a better place. 





Rupali has a Master's Degree in Environment Science from University of Pune and a Diploma in Human Resource Management from the Institute of Management Development & Research, Pune. 
She has conducted environment impact assessment of several water resource projects in India and also carried out monitoring and evaluation studies of completed water resources projects.  She has also handled projects related to eco-tourism planning and development,  market development strategies for organic farm produce, conservation of natural resources, rural development as well as spread awareness on environmental conservation, health and sanitation.
She's associated with GreenEarth since August 2008.






Meenal has done Master’s in Economics from University of Pune. She is working with GreenEarth Social Development Consulting Company, Pune for past 2 years. She also serves as a visiting faculty member of Economics at St Mira’s college for Girls in Pune.
